Keokee Books was launched as imprint of Keokee Co. Publishing, Inc., in Sandpoint, Idaho. In 2026, the Keokee Books imprint became part of the Hagadone Corporation, publisher of regional magazines and newspapers including the Bonner County Daily Bee in Sandpoint.

Founded in 1990, Keokee Books is a specialty publisher of books and magazines about “our place in the world.” Our book titles range from guidebooks and outdoor sports to human and natural history to memoirs and writings by regional authors. Our regional flagship magazine is Sandpoint Magazine. The community website we publish is SandpointOnline.com.

Keokee also provides publishing, marketing, and creative services for hire to businesses and individual authors who seek to self-publish their works.
